Duffstep's debut album Getting To Sirius was a pleasant surprise that nonchalantly straddled genres and was characterised by real warmth throughout. Here Join the Dots present a second round of remixes from the album, with the focus solely on "Your Touch". Merc boss Mark E leads the way with a typically sumptuous remix that's far too well produced to dismiss as mere nu-disco. Retaining the melodic warmth and horizontal feel of the original, Mr E adds his own, less gentle rhythmic leaning which lends proceedings a whole new sonic angle. On the flip My Best Friend overseer Riley Reinhold takes the track on a subaqueous house tip that gets better as it progresses whilst Session Victim opts for a deep and dubby version.
