Originally released as a special treat for Record Store Day, Strut continues its faithful representation of the Dance Mania canon with this 12", which offers up a diverse trio of cuts from the label both released and unreleased. Drewsky is up first with the sassy jiggle and bounce of "Wigged Out", slapping down vibing keys, scratchy hooks, joyous vocal hums and plenty more over a rough-as-you-like house beat. "Club Style" is a touch more urgent in its make up, keeping things on a knifes edge with a tense synth line and plenty of that bumping swing but no less soulful flavour. Rhythm II Rhythm make up the exclusive cut with a sweet and sensual jam entitled "Mellow Magic", resplendent with sax and soft keys and a line in chords that sound like a more natural appropriation of "Gypsy Woman".
