Turbo are becoming one of the most malleable labels in dance music to swivel on techno's axis. This sampler shaped accompaniment to a compilation of the same name sees Tiga's label dive straight into heavyweight banger mode, but there's a distinct broken beat and hardcore narrative that's laced throughout all four tracks. DJ Hesburger debuts by filling up the A1 spot with the distorted twinkles of "Roll Up Your Sleeves, Welcome To The Dance", while Dance Company's "Berzerkerz (Hardcore Young Team)" has a similar groove with mellow rave stabs to keep things chilled. Turbo artists Clouds deliver more blistering techno drums with light eastern oriental pads draped over the top in "Blood Skating", while it's straight up wonky funk in Jane's "Fuck Your Alliance" which sounds like Mr Ozio remixing Steve Poindexter's "Work That Mutha Fucker".
