Dez Williams. Perhaps the most under-rated UK techno and electro producer of the last fifteen years. While many associate him with the latest wave of house, techno and bass, Williams has actually been putting out banging, face-melting acid and techno since the early 2000s, and his Elektronik Religion label has invariably been a safe spot for quality warehouse music with an industrial edge. This new hand-stamped 12" for Killekill's freshly launched VANTA SERIES is all about the 303 bleeps: the aptly named "Acidbanger" does exactly what it says on the tin, ""Hornet Tea" is a loose and bubbly acid experiment that dissolved into pure oblivion, whereas "Offonone" reduces the acid down to a subtle swarm beneath a jarring sway of synth keys and ominous sonics. Powerful gear - go easy.
