The second album from sound artist duo/couple crys cole and Oren Ambarchi takes us deep down a mysterious romantic rabbit hole over four long form pieces. A smouldering, sensual affair at first, "Call Myself" softly manipulates warm chords before "Francis Debacle" provides a darker, more languid aesthetic, soaked in sweaty, groaning human textures and grainy textures. "Burrata" slips into something a little more comfortable as sweet nothings are transmitted over a weave of dreamy unpredictable arpeggios before "Pad Phet Gob" zooms out for a wider view as the swampy, alien location of this tryst is revealed. Bewildering, charming and constantly revealing more.
