Sometimes when you feel down all you really need is to dive into the strange, beautiful and playful world of CocoRosie. Those unfamiliar with the pair might be disappointed at our inability to signpost comparable acts, but trust us when we say their combination of electronic pop, blues, trip hop and - wait for it - operatics beguiles and captivates in equal measure. A sonic realm where things might feel uneasy for a second before the cumulative elements are shown to marry so well. In many ways, "Put The Shine On" is their most chart-friendly offering to date, but that might suggest a watering down of their quirks and oddness. Nothing could be further from the truth, but nonetheless tracks such as "Restless" should be destined for significant radio play, and "Lamb & The Wolf / Slow Down Sun Down" is universally adorable stuff.
