Mysterious production entity CEM3340 won plenty of plaudits for debut 12" Polaris One, a fine electro three-tracker that tended towards the intergalactic end of the spectrum. That set sounded like something that could have appeared in 1984 or '85 - albeit with a few sleazier, acid house-era touches - so it's no surprise to find that this follow-up is similar in tone. Opener "Polaris", for example, boasts a tasty mixture of short vocal vocals, deep space melodies lines and throbbing analogue beats and bass. The EP's other two cuts, "Electronic Orchestra" and "007013200", both sound like long-lost Cybotron jams from the period when they made "Clear" and "Techno City". In other words, this is retro-futurist electro of the highest quality.
