Having debuted on Tusk Wax and followed up with an EP for Glenview, relatively fresh production concern Causa is handing over control of the latter release to a tidy selection of remixers with diverse results ensuing for all lovers of modern adventures in house music. Kuniyuki Takahashi has an intricate and looping approach to "Crosswinds" which plays out like a slow, emotive take on techno, the ferocity replaced with atmospheric romance. Little-known Russian Kito Jempere meanwhile wields a powerful clarinet tone on his own version, maximising on the allure of a single instrument to create an arresting slice of deepest house, and Young Marco twists out the unexpected with his tribal-cum-piano shakedown of "Alji".
