Killekill continues to purposely differentiate itself from much of what is coming out of Berlin at the moment. As part of the three-part KilleKill Megahits series, the label has commissioned a far flung group of producers to contribute to its ghetto-laced techno oddities. Version 10.1 deploys Bill Youngman, Radioactive Man, James T. Cotton and DJ Stingray to drop a varied range of insidious acid licks and venomous electro beats for a refreshing take club squelch. Youngman's "The 2" is a steroid fuelled version of Sega's 1986 arcade classic Outrun, while Radioactive Man's "Addict" is an ghoolish acid bomb strafed with sooty resonators. James T. Cotton lowers some serious weight in "Crush Arbor" via a pulsating bass, smashed up hats and woozy synths. Erstwhile Drexciya affiliate DJ Stingray then unearths another spacious and acidified electro gem like only he can.
