Fledgling Brooklyn-based imprint Styles Upon Styles issues the fourth in their series of conceptual BASH releases with Portland based producer Best Available Technology pushing them buttons. The central concept of this series is asking producers to deliver music across a variety of styles that can be split roughly into two categories - Bangers and Ash - and BAT does that with certifiable aplomb here laying down three lurching Ash experiments and two steely-eyed Bangers. It's a further mark of the producer's blossoming talent following issues on like-minded labels Further, Opal Tapes and most recently Astro:Dynamics with the opening cut "Bulldozer Rituals" particularly worthy of your attention.
