Review

Suspense is Bernard Roger Fevre's first solo album and the original release came early on in Musax's - mythical French label dealing in outsider electronics - catalogue. Unlike Cosmos 2043, Suspense isn't based around the concept of space but is instead a work which contains no conceptual boundaries. It does, however, also feature plenty of wavey electronic melodies and eerie soundscapes such as "Skeese" or "What Happens". Given its 1975 release date, there's also noticeable levels of funk in there, namely on the fuzzy "Mister Green", a get-down kinda number with one hell of a bassline and some killer sonics. Cop it just for that..!
