Boof! Livity Sound commence their 2016 activities in mean style, with a killer new slab of bass science from Batu on their Dnous Ytivil reverse label. Omar McCutcheon first appeared on Kowton, Asusu and Pev's sister operation in late 2013, and since then the Batu sound has matured and developed across records for Hotline, Mistry and his own Timedance. The two cuts present here offer a further compelling display of his growing prowess on the buttons, with "Bleeper Feed" a rollercoaster ride through cascading percussion and mind bending synth twists. The curiously named "April These" offers a more subtle take from Batu, interrogating the dance, as opposed to blowing it up. Highly recommended.
