Turkish producer Barut debuts four new minimal tech tools for Sintope's offshoot vinyl series. The 'Antelia' EP starts out functionally enough, but grows increasingly dreamy and awestruck as it progresses. We begin with the expository FM funk of 'Ilanto Zur', but before long find ourselves submerged in the far larger, nigh-gargantuan stellar planes of 'Ramana'. Finally, closer 'Antelia' is a relative curveball in sound compared to the earlier tunes, deftly working in ethereal vocal improv and swelling Vangelis pads into a beautiful electrance sendoff.
