According to the accompanying press release, Magnetic Man member Artwork (AKA early dubstep pioneer Arthur Smith) spent three years trying to clear the vocal samples used on this EP. While many would have given up trying, Smith persisted - and eventually got agreements from all concerned - due to the fantastic response the track has been getting from DJ plays. Certainly, the track is something of a beast: a full-throttle TB-303 acid assault that not only boasts seriously mind-altering electronic hooks, but also some seriously sassy vocal snippets and a fantastic breakdown/drop combination. Equally as impressive is flipside "Acid Lines", whose familiar, echo-laden vocal refrain is probably the one that caused his lawyers most headaches. Naturally, it acts as the wiggly acid tune's main hook.
