Shall Not Fade has rightly become one of the most lauded labels in deep house over the last couple of years. It's perhaps fitting, then, that they've snapped up rising stars Anthony Fade. The sometime Lost Palms and House Crime duo hit the ground running with the rolling, horn-toting deep house warmth of "Champagne Paradise", which also makes use of some choice vocal samples from a Larry Levan produced boogie era classic. "Creepin" is an altogether jazzier deep house experience - think bustling drums and rich Rhodes riffs - while "Same Tune" sounds a little like Moodymann after a few extra-strong zoots. Fittingly, Detroit producer Andres contributes a tasty remix of the latter, upping the energy levels while adding some snaking synth lines and soulful samples of his own.
