Synthetic Gold came to light late last year with a unique agenda to push the kind of stripped down experimental minimal house and techno that has been overlooked by trend followers. After a strong first move, the label returns with a second bout from lesser-known names such as Anestie Gomez and Guillermo De Caminos, but perhaps even more intriguing is the A side credited to an unknown producer who turns out some bugged-out beats and bleeps for the freakier end of the floor. For those who still recognize the innovation and fresh ideas coming out of minimal techno, this is a record well worth checking out.
