Review

Anderson follows up on his last fine outing with a new and smooth fusion of breaks, acid, trance and techno here for the fledgling Day By Day label. Opener 'Jelly Bean' (Virus Outbreak mix) is a deep and heady track with oceanic pads swirling around next to punch kicks. It's cuddly post e-rush bliss, frankly. 'Level Quest' is more melodic old school techno and 'Tree Ring' brings some more spaced out hippie vibes to a weird and wonderful downtempo number. Finally, 'Tasteful Nudes' closes in skittish fashion with hyper speed drums and hypnotic lead synths that are warped out of shape.
