|2.||"Pitt's Acid Thoughts" (6:20)|
Italy's Andrea La Pietra steps onto the bubbling Yay Recordings with a new EP under the name And.rea, offering four new cuts that delve deeper into the techno end of the spectrum compared to his previous EPs. "Fictionary" actually opens with a more electro-leaning bassline, coming through with some harsh snares and an industrial tone of voice, whereas "Leandance" veers closer to the deep house mindset - still polished off by a wicked analogue aesthetic. On the flip, "Gladly"is deep and dubby, unleashing some heavy bass drums and cavernous, grey-scaled sonics, leaving "Pitt's Acid Thoughts" to provide the ever-welcomed dosage of 303 goodness. Jammy!
