3024's pilfering of West Country talent continues unabated with the rather busy of late Julio Bashmore being swiftly followed by the equally prolific Addison Groove in releasing essential club tackle for Martyn's imprint. Anyone who has indulged in Mr T Williams' recent output for Swamp81 or Tectonic will have an inkling of the current Addison Groove sonic flex, all tightly wound post circa 130bpm 808 patterns, though "It's Got Me" is truly characterised by the disparate sensation of woozy melodic flourishes being diced by the rhythmic swagger. Flipside you get future funk electro odyssey of "Minutes Of Funk" with swathes of purple textures allowed to breath beneath a perma bouncy bass thrust. The midway drop into a bumping house pattern will grab you every time!
