Review: They probably couldn't have come up with a better name for this project. Matt Ashton and Melinda Bronstein first met when they were both in Singing Adams, with the former then moving to The Leaf Library where the latter joined the wider entourage. Work also began on some of these tracks years ago. It's taken a long time to get here, basically, almost as long as it takes for sea glass to form - a natural wonder usually around a century in the making. It's worth the wait, though. The songs presented are beautiful slices of tranquil space pop, twinkling ambient rock, and lush au natural acoustic joys. There's a real sense of intimacy to the tunes, but they also have sprawling qualities, evolving and developing often through loop-oriented song-craft, making for a collection of quiet epics.
