Review: TM Shuffles' very own Vuo Recordings adds to their Elemental Mood Series with a sixth edition of standout dub techno from various artists on their roster. Kicking off with Star Dub's 'Light In The Dark', the track undulates and pulsates like a miragic lighthouse sifting in and out of the knocking gloom; then there's Altone's 'Tribal Cave' on the A2, which pares the textures back for a dynamic furtive shuffle of techy, understated proportions.AThe B hears Poro's slow breaks number 'Richt Her', the most understated of the bunch with its 2-stepped groove and slow-delayed whip-cracks and creeks; and finally, TM Shuffle and Monoder proffer the spitty 'Taattaa', which plays back like a sputtery radio transmission received from a distant polar ice floe.
