Notes: The 3-Tier Mantis Studio Brackets pair lets you connect three Mantis together in a robust and elegant solution. This setup is fixed and is recommended mainly for studio use. The brackets are cut precisely by laser from a sturdy metal and then coated twice for a nice smooth finish that matches the Mantis light gray color. They come with twenty screws and special washers that help hold the screw in place during assembly and keep a tiny gap between the brackets and the Mantis. Installation is fairly simple and takes about 30 minutes to complete.

Notes: ART QUAD QUANTIZER is a four channel CV to ART Quantizer to play ART oscillators from CV sequencers, LFOs and anything that outputs CV. This is TipTop#s second ART controller option and is designed for those of us playing ART without a computer or MIDI source. The inputs take in positive, negative, bipolar CV voltages. Scales include Major Minor and the five other modes (Dorian, Lydian, etc). The module is simple to set up with a simple menu and one knob with switch for navigation. The 4th channel can be set to generate Chords and polyphonic note streams for ART Polyphonic oscillators.

Welcome to the Forbidden Planet, an all analogue multi-mode filter design influenced by the 1975 Steiner-Parker Synthacon model. Control the Forbidden Planet manually or through CV and take the sound of your Eurorack into new orbits.

Forbidden Planet has three filter input jacks: High Pass, Low Pass and Band Pass. The High Pass section is this module's signature sound - a crisp sharp-cut with no residue, designed to add High Pass filtering capability to Tiptop Audio's wide range of Eurorack modules. Send a throbbing kick drum through the High Pass section and filter out the rumbling lows while maintaining the pulse of the beat. The Bandpass is clear and useful in isolating a pie-slice-range-of-frequencies while cutting off the low and highs, great for accurate sound design or sculpting audio into that sweet spot. The Low Pass is an airy classic 12db two-pole analogue slope ideal for monophonic synth patches and filtering down to the essential low-end bass we all love.

The Forbidden Planet Resonance utilizes an internal feedback path which can sound smooth or aggressive depending on the knob setting. At a low setting, it emphasizes the cut-off harmonics, at middle settings it begins to self-oscillate, and towards maximum setting it forms interesting tones and all sorts of chopped grainy bits of self-oscillation perfect for entering into a sci-fi world.

The Forbidden Planet is an impressive multi-mode analogue filter which adds a broader filter spectrum to the Tiptop Audio modular family and unlocks forbidden creative possibilities in a small package.

Notes: HEXAGAIN is a six voice polyphonic audio VCA plus a six voice mixer with master level control and two ODD/EVEN channels for a stereo output and clipping indicator. All six VCA ins and outs are simultaneously available through Polytip jacks and 3.5mm jacks so the module can be used in a variety of ways both polyphonic or multi-voice monophonic. The fully analogue audio path has exponential CV control. CV inputs are 0-5V, typical audio input is 10Vp.p. A global Offset knob allow to open all VCAs manually or apply positive offset to incoming CV.

MIX7 gives ability to sweeten your mix with more headroom using the power of low noise analog summing. A compact 3HP Eurorack utility module, MIX7 is an attractive mixing addition to any rig, especially with the ability to also combine rhythms, note patterns or CV automations from different control sources. The main output of one section can be connected to the input of another MIX7 to create larger mixing groups and complex signal routes inside your modular.

The MIX7 summing mixing circuit is built with low-noise operational amplifiers, giving it an excellent sound quality for mixing audio, the beautiful texture of classic analog mixing with plenty of headroom to handle hot modular signals, and the versatility to sum non-audio signals in your system to open up new creative possibilities.

Each input is labeled with a number of dots, 1-7, yellow for input and green for output. The module matches Tiptop's system look with clean white faceplate styling.

Notes: Octo I/O is a bi-directional passive Polytip to 3.5mm expander and a Polytip Mult. The expander section lets you break out to each individual voice from a polyphonic module. The mult section lets you mult Polytip polyphonic signals from one source to multiple destinations. For example patching the OCTOSTAGES envelopes to control both your OCTOPASS filters and HEXAGAIN VCAs.

The typical use is to patch polyphonic synthesisers with the use of only a few Polytip patch cables for its audio ins and outs and its cut-off frequency controls. To tap each filter I/O or CV using discrete modules the OCTO I/O module can be used as an expander. When modulated with audio frequencies through its various inputs, the Z2040 gets quite colourful and is capable of creating many new sounds and textures as the forces of the incoming waves and their harmonics blend through the filter's non-linear circuit. When set with Resonance feedback fully up, the Z2040 transforms into a pure sine-core VC-Oscillator, great for making snappy percussive elements and whistling sounds.

A look under the hood will find that the heart of the Z2040 is a discrete design 4-pole low pass filter with a core similar to that of the SSM2040 filter chip, used in the 80's Prophet 5 Rev 2 synthesizer, and its brother the SSM2044, used in the famous early EMU samplers and PPG synthesizers of the 80's. Notes: Vortex 6 is a polyphonic 6 voice ART wavetable oscillator inspired by the hardware design and sound of the PPG Wave 2.2. Dozens of wavetables are provided internally and user tables can be loaded via SD CARD. VORTEX6 has built in Vibrato, Glide, and six wave table scrolling envelopes all with CV. ART in jack and a built-in voice manager take care of incoming notes and distribute them to audio gate and velocity outs either on per voice 3.5mm jacks or the Polytip jacks. Together with OCTOPUS, one or more OCTOSTAGES, OCTOPASS and HEXAGAIN and a few Polytip patch cables make a complete six voice polyphonic synth. Alternatively VORTEX6 can be patched to discrete mono modules or use its voice mix out for paraphonic soundscapes.

A detune knob controls the second VCO and adds effects from deep phasing to a sub octave. The position knob and CV input selects waves in the tables and vibrato from LFOs to create FM. Like other ART sound generators a dedicated Gate output manages the voice envelope or any modulation synced to that voice.
