Source Audio Ventris Dual Reverb Effects Pedal
Cat: 819484 Rel: 06 Apr 21

Digital/reverb/MIDI/dual & stereo effects pedal
Notes: Not just another reverb pedal. The Ventris's party trick comes from its dual stereo reverb engines, allowing for smooth switching between presets. Top quality 56-bit processing and 14 different modes.

Supplier's Notes:
Create rich, spacious reverberations with the Ventris Dual Reverb. The Ventris features 14 meticulously crafted reverb engines built on two completely independent 56-bit signal processors, essentially housing a matching pair of high-powered, stereo reverb pedals in a single box. The pedal's dual DSP architecture provides massive processing muscle, adjustable preset spillover time, and advanced dual reverb effects. Step into a vast realm of ambient space.

The supremely intelligent Ventris Dual Reverb features two completely independent 56-bit reverb processors, essentially housing a matching pair of high-powered reverb pedals in a single box. The Ventris's powerful dual processing architecture gives the pedal some serious advantages including massive processing muscle, adjustable preset spillover time, and the ability to create dual reverb effects.

The power to combine two reverb engines truly expands the pedal's ambient possibilities. Run dual reverb effects in a parallel or cascading signal path, or split your reverbs and send a different effect to each of the pedal's two Outputs.

Massive Processing Power: Dual processing eliminates bloated all-in-one reverb programs. Instead of being forced to allocate 5% of the processing power to something vital and complex like the True Spring reverb, we can now dedicate 100% of the processor, opening the door to a new frontier of realism and sonic exploration.

True Spillover: Seamless "spillover" from one preset to the next is an enormous advantage in live situations. Switch from one reverb preset to another without abruptly cutting off the trail of the previous effect. And, the dual reverb engines make it possible to program (with the Neuro Desktop Editor) the decay rate of the first reverb trail.

Source Audio's two man engineering team of Bob Chidlaw and Jesse Remignanti took extreme care in crafting the Ventris Reverb's exceptionally spacious tones, covering all the bases from beautifully natural reverberations to haunting "unnatural" tones. The Ventris Dual Reverb includes 12 onboard reverb engines as well as an ever-expanding collection of reverb effects available via the Neuro Mobile App or Neuro Desktop Editor. Click the boxes below for details on each engine.

The True Spring engine is the perfect example of the Source Audio engineering team taking full advantage of the Ventris Dual Reverb's immense processing might. True Spring flawlessly captures all the subtleties and idiosyncrasies of classic spring reverb equipped amplifiers, including the characteristic "drip" associated with the vintage effect. Spring reverb simulation was a major challenge, requiring a deep understanding of the physical characteristics of reverb springs, advanced experience in sound design, and exceptional processing power. Chief Scientist Bob Chidlaw drew upon all his knowledge and experience in the creation of the True Spring engine, from his days as head engineer at Kurzweil to the creation of Source Audio's Soundblox 2 Dimension Reverb. The result is a supremely natural sounding reverb effect.

Source Audio Nemesis Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 819480 Rel: 06 Apr 21

Delay/dual & stereo effects pedal
Notes: The Nemesis Delay is the culmination of three years of intense research, listening, and engineering. The mission was to create a compact, powerful, and easy-to-use delay pedal with unrivaled tone, flexibility, and style. Nemesis offers 26 distinct effect engines ranging from vintage tape and analog delays to highly advanced pitch-shifting, reverse, filter modulating, and rhythmic delays. It also features 128 presets, multiple delay taps, a hold function, tap tempo, full MIDI control, deep editing functionality with the Neuro Mobile App, and much more.

Nemesis captures the full spectrum of delay effects, starting with a comprehensive collection of meticulously crafted vintage delay tones. The Source Audio engineering team spent over a year studying numerous iconic and sought after tape and bucket brigade delay units with a staunch dedication to identifying their every nuance and idiosyncrasy. The Nemesis's Tape, Noise Tape and Slapback delays capture all the characteristic flutter, warmth, and color that give vintage tape delay machines like the Echoplex and Space Echo their classic charm. The Analog delay engine beautifully achieves the resonant peaks combined with high and low frequency decay that typifies classic bucket brigade delay pedals. The pedal's Digital delay manufactures pristine, high definition repeats with or without filtering effects for a classic rack-system tone.

At the opposite side of the spectrum, you'll find an advanced collection of sophisticated and specialized delay effects. The Shifter delay generates perfect polyphonic pitch intervals with repeats jumping to either an octave (up or down), major or minor third, 4th, or 5th. Sweeper applies modulating filter effects to repeats for a unique delay/wah hybrid tone. Backwards effects like Helix and Reverse provide a perfect blend of chaos and control with multi-tap reverse patterns and angelic pitch shifting effects. A Rhythmic delay features an engaging and musical collection of non-standard multi-tap delay patterns.

The 12 engines included on the face of the Nemesis represent a perfect cross section of delay effects, from classic essentials to the highly progressive. But don't stop there, we strongly recommend connecting your Nemesis to the Neuro Mobile App or Neuro Desktop Editor and checking out the 14 additional delay engines not accessible with the effect selector knob. Click the links below for deep-dive videos on some of these bonus delay effects, plus a closer look at the original 12.

Source Audio Ultrawave Multiband Distortion Effects Pedal
Cat: 814634 Rel: 14 Apr 21

distortion pedal
Notes: Simple looks but complex sound from this multi-band overdrive/tremolo unit. Stereo in and out, suitable for guitar/bass or synths and line level signals. Neuro preset editor allows you full control.

Supplier's Notes:
The Ultrawave Multiband Processor embarks on a pioneering journey into the advanced potential of overdrive and tremolo, exploring a brave new universe of sounds yet unheard. At the Ultrawave's core is a dynamic and multi-dimensional approach known as multiband processing. This process splits the frequency spectrum of a guitar, bass, or synthesizer into multiple, discrete frequency bands and equips each band with its own array of adjustable parameters. In the case of overdrive, the Ultrawave splits the incoming signal and provides separate drive and output level controls for each individual band. The result is a thick and rich distortion with loads of unique overtones and dynamic interplay. Split the signal into 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, or 10 frequency bands, and apply any of the band splitting options to an exciting collection of overdrive types, including Tube, Diode, Foldback (a method of distortion often heard in the world of synthesizers), Octave Up, Negative Flip Diode, and more. The Ultrawave also has an incredible companion collection of innovative sound processing blocks to take sound creation into vast new directions. These are found in the Neuro Desktop Editor (free editing software for Mac or Windows) or Neuro Mobile App (free for iOS and Android). All presets created in the Neuro editors can be loaded directly to the pedal, saved to a personal, cloud-based preset library, and published to the Neuro Community to be easily accessed by other Ultrawave owners. The dual channel compressor block includes studio level controls that can be placed before or after the drive circuits. The Multiband Tremolo block provides individual control of each band's tremolo depth, rate, and start time as well as its LFO wave shape. Changing the LFO wave shape and varying the tremolo start times of each frequency band creates fantastically propulsive sounds reminiscent of sequencer or arpeggiator effects. The LFO's Ring Mod option creates waves of retro/futuristic industrialism. The Morph feature explores the marvelous potential of sound morphing, which allows musicians to smoothly transition from one supercharged tone to another with an external expression pedal, LFO, or envelope follower. The Ultrawave also has advanced stereo features that can send entirely different drive effects to each of the outputs for a wide stereo field, place the effect in two places in a signal chain, or generate mind-spinning, ping-pong tremolo effects.
