  1. Champagne Paradise (6:43)
  2. Creepin' (7:45)
  3. Same Tune (7:00)
  4. Same Tune (Andres remix) (5:38)
Review: Shall Not Fade has rightly become one of the most lauded labels in deep house over the last couple of years. It's perhaps fitting, then, that they've snapped up rising stars Anthony Fade. The sometime Lost Palms and House Crime duo hit the ground running with the rolling, horn-toting deep house warmth of "Champagne Paradise", which also makes use of some choice vocal samples from a Larry Levan produced boogie era classic. "Creepin" is an altogether jazzier deep house experience - think bustling drums and rich Rhodes riffs - while "Same Tune" sounds a little like Moodymann after a few extra-strong zoots. Fittingly, Detroit producer Andres contributes a tasty remix of the latter, upping the energy levels while adding some snaking synth lines and soulful samples of his own.

  2. Knickerbocker Ave (7:17)
  3. Doin' Bits (6:37)
  4. Doin' Bits (Frits Wentink remix) (5:25)
Review: Aus alumni Rob Glassett brings his Fold feels to Shall Not Fade: four tracks of jazz-tinged classically trained house music that nods heavily towards the Chicago sound. "Alan Whickers" pumps with a big filtered sensation that doubles up into quite a punch on the second drop, "Knickerbocker Ave" is as tasty as it sounds with a light broken feel to the drums and delicate jazz piano loop while "Doin' Bits" is grounded in more of a NYC house feel with its insistent vocal sample rises and relentless groove. Need a little 23rd century soul? Look no further than Will & Ink's Frits Wentink remix. Vibes.

  1. Knowing (5:26)
  2. Love & Death (6:06)
  3. Chasing The Sunset (6:29)
  4. Sway Life (5:14)
Review: Shall Not Fade welcome a genuine house pillar; Warren Harris AKA Hanna. His first release in quite some time, he gently reminds us of his influence with four beautiful, unhurried soul-laced gems. "Knowing" is a day dreamer, all flutes, fretless bass, free and easy while "Love & Death" takes us deep inside the synths on a bed of loosely arranged percussion. Flip for the softly broken shuffles and twinkles of "Chasing The Sunset" and the left-sided stuttering-beat funk jam "Sway Life". Let's pray we don't have to wait so long for the next Hanna dispatch.

  1. Mori Summer (6:36)
  2. Think About It First (6:47)
  3. Angel (7:03)
  4. Silence Night (5:38)
Review: LK is arguably Shall Not Fade's most consistent contributor. This is the producer's fourth outing for the Antipodean imprint in less than two years. Predictably, it's another fine outing, with opener "Mori Summer", a rolling and hypnotic affair that seems to draw some influence from Floating Points' early house productions, getting things off to a flyer. That jazzy, synth-heavy style is explored on the undulating bliss of "Think About it First", before he peppers a swinging groove with jammed-out organ riffs on the impeccable "Angel". Perhaps most impressive of all, though, is the slow burning, jazz-fuelled late night deepness of closer "Silence Night", where blissful electric piano keys cluster around a shoulder-swinging groove.

  1. The Shine (6:37)
  2. Rhapsody (6:47)
  3. The Other Side (5:56)
  4. The Other Side (Mall Grab remix) (5:16)
Review: Following a string of well-regarded EPs - mostly on Emotive - Silk 86 joins the growing Shall Not Fade family. The Other Side is a wholeheartedly positive and melodious affair, with all four cuts sounding like they could ignite any house-centric party if dropped at the right time. While the title track, a bouncy roller full of jammed-out electronic piano solos, lazy Rhodes chords and elastic synth bass, is undeniably ace, our pick is probably the low-slung, bass-heavy deep house/disco-house fusion of "Rhapsody" (though opener "The Shine", a breezy piano-heavy affair full of authentic disco percussion, is also fantastic). If that wasn't enough to set the pulse racing, Mall Grab's remix of "The Other Side" is a sweaty, bass-heavy, late night delight.

  2. Meeting (5:26)
  3. Feels (6:58)
  4. Feels (LK remix) (6:19)
Review: Detroit legend Rick Wade (or Big Daddy Rick) is an artist who needs little introduction: a true house music legend! He steps up for the fourteenth release on British imprint Shall Not Fade with these four quality tracks. A side cuts "Guardian Of Forever" and "Meeting" really channel that Harmonie Park sound: a signature groove that he has worked tirelessly at for the better part of at least 20 years. On the flip is "Feels" which gets an absolutely stellar remix by "LK" and injects the track with a real tough groove that's all about that sense of shuffle and swing. Following up great releases by Steve Murphy, Adriyano and Pascal Viscardi: this label is really bringing some top game at the moment.
