Notes: Sound tuning through platter mat replacement! The interaction between the record and the surface can be tracked very easily by the sensitivity of a good pick up cartridge.

Common felt mats give a smooth contact between record and platter but have the disadvantage of static. This means that felt mats often collect a lot of dust which can be then transferred to the record. Also, the damping ability is very limited which can be a problem with metal platters. Thick rubber mats overdamp the record and have an isolation effect which leaves static on the record - hearable noise clicks are the result.

Leather and Cork are 2 different but very interesting options to upgrade the sound quality. Resonances are damped more effectively than felt, they keep dust away and also avoid static.

Which is better largely depends on taste and the actual platter design. These mats are a very cost effective way to improve the sound and have less noise by static and dust. You can hear a difference!

The mat improves performance by reducing vibration transfer to the playing surface, allowing your cartridge to deliver a more stable high-fidelity performance. Notes: This new record puck ensures a secure fit between record and turntable. With the two different finishes, black painted and polished silver, it perfectly fits the design of of our turntables. Record pucks use weight to secure a playing vinyl record against the turntable platter. By holding the two together, the sound performance of the turntable will improve, in timing and depth of sound. With a weight of 190 grams, this puck is perfect for smaller turntables in order not to burden the turntable bearing and to prevent an increase in rumbling.

The new VC-S3 is Pro-Ject's new premium record cleaning machine with completely new superior features. Vinyl records need a specific maintenance. The dry brush cleaning before playing the record is good to roughly remove dust. To effectively clean the grooves you need to wet clean the record. To achieve the perfect cleaning we also need a suitable cleaning fluid. Alcoholic cleaning fluids can destroy musical micro information of the grooves. That's the reason why Pro-Ject's designed our new eco-friendly non-alcoholic cleaning fluid called "Wash it 2". The new Wash it 2 is a pre-mixed liquid, so you don't have to dilute the concentrate yourself anymore. This avoids acidentally using unsuitable tap water for mixing. With Wash it 2 you can optimize the cleaning performance again. The VC-S3 is very powerful and cleans records completely in one to two revolutions.

The new magnetic clamp not only seals the record label from cleaning fluid to avoid damage on the label, it also speeds up the whole cleaning process. Place your record on the machine, put on the clamp and you are ready to go - no more tedious screwing of the clamp anymore. The robust easy to use metal arm is mechanically stable and focuses all suction power directly onto the record surface. Paired with new self-adhesive arm strip your records get cleaned perfectly. The large internal container (2,5 litres) collects used fluid and is effortlessly easy to empty. Today, many amplifiers do not have a specific phono cartridge input. Phono Box E is an ideal phono preamplifier for these hifi systems.

Phono Box E accepts MM cartridges and offers an audiophile music experience at an entry-level price. Advanced circuitry and SMD construction keep noise and distortion at a surprisingly low level.

A built-in internal shielding and an outboard DC power supply leave no risk for external interference. Because of its small casing, Phono Box E can be placed near the turntable. Input and output sockets are gold-plated for preservation of quality.

Phono Box E can be connected easily to a line-input (AUX etc) of your amplifier.

Notes: With a smart tonearm design we were able to combine pure sound quality with an easy setup. Our Plug & Play design with pre-adjusted tracking force and anti-skating for the included Ortofon OM cartridge has saved us costs and is extremely efficient in handling for our customers.

Also the vibration absorbing feet isolate the turntable from the surface it is place on to deliver the best sound possible. The Primary E Phono is equipped with a switchable phono/line output, so it can be run with a dedicated external phono preamp or with the integrated phono preamp connected to a line input (for example AUX, CD, Tuner, Tape, etc.). With intelligent construction and without needless features we were able to keep the price attractive, despite this product being handmade in Europe.
