Monitor with dual 4.5" custom-woven Kevlar LF/midrange drivers for dynamic, size-defying bass output
Notes: The Eris E44 and E66 deliver an expanded and highly accurate frequency response and the widest stereo field available in their class. Their nested Midwoofer-Tweeter-Midwoofer (MTM, also known as "D'Appolito") configuration offers improved off-axis response and spatial resolution. The result is a more consistent listening experience, smoother frequency response, and an ultra-wide, detailed stereo soundstage.

Conventional 2-way designs can cause significant early reflections from their surrounding environment. The E44 and E66 overcome this by positioning a 1.25", silk dome high-frequency driver between two 4.5" (E44) or 6.5" (E66) midrange drivers. The two smaller woofers work in parallel to partially contain the dispersion of the tweeter, minimizing phase displacement. The result is incredibly detailed stereo imaging.

Both the E44 and the E66 feature two midrange drivers that cover the same frequency range. The drivers are placed so that their acoustic centers are less than one wavelength apart for any of the frequencies they reproduce; as a result, the combined signal of both drivers propagates forward like a single waveform. This makes the comparatively small midrange drivers in the E44 and E66 behave like a single, larger driver. This mutual coupling provides a highly dynamic output in a compact footprint.

Sound waves radiating from the two components in a conventional speaker design can interfere with one another, creating peaks at some frequencies and dips at others, and these will vary depending on where the listener is relative to the speaker. In an MTM configuration, component interference, and the sonic inconsistencies that go with it, are minimized. This affords listeners an ultra-wide sweet spot and a more consistent listening experience on- and off-axis.

The E44 and E66 utilize custom-woven Kevlar low-frequency drivers. This provides a more constant dispersion pattern throughout the frequency range, resulting in less time-smeared audio and cleaner overall sound. The weave and nature of the dual Kevlar woofers also helps break up reflected energy, so fewer delayed reflections reach the listener's ear. In conjunction with the MTM configuration, this works to create a transparent, cohesive sound.

Many MTM configurations must be arrayed vertically, rather than horizontally, because vertical placement provides a clear, interference-free midrange and treble reproduction to either side, expanding the sweet spot. By bringing the midrange drivers closer together and raising the high-frequency driver, the E44 and E66 are able to perform optimally in both orientations. So, like all Eris speakers, the E44 and E66 let you position your speaker the way that works best for you.

Today's music producers deal with a wide variety of musical genres and often work in more than one location. That's why Eris-series studio monitors offer extensive acoustic tuning controls. The three-position Acoustic Space switch helps to compensate for the boundary bass boost that can occur when a monitor is placed in a corner or near a wall. High and Mid controls help to further mitigate room anomalies. A Low Cutoff filter makes it easy to integrate a Temblor subwoofer into your monitor setup.

With three different types of audio inputs, it's easy to feed audio to your Eris monitors from a mixer, an interface, a media player, or almost any other line-level source. The Eris E44 and E66 provide balanced XLR, balanced 1/4" TRS, and unbalanced RCA line-level inputs. With this selection, you'll have no problem hooking your Eris speakers up with virtually any line-level source.

Like all PreSonus studio monitors, the Eris E44 and E66 offer consistent, accurate listening. The ultra-wide stereo image afforded by their MTM design, makes them an ideal solution for any one who requires best-in-class spatial resolution. Like the rest of the Eris studio monitors, the E44 and E66 set a new standard for affordable studio monitors.

Presonus Eris E5 Studio Monitor (single) (studio monitor (single))
Cat: 480960 Rel: 10 Jul 13

Front ported studio monitor with 5.25" driver and 1" tweeter
Notes: The Eris E5 2 way active 5.25" studio monitor from PreSonus delivers an accurate response with tight bass and a clear upper end. The Kevlar low frequency transducers, low-mass silk-dome tweeters and responsive Class AB amplification combine with acoustic-adjustment controls to create a versatile and adaptable listening system.

The E5 begins with a front-ported enclosure made of vinyl-laminated MDF. It features a 5.25" Kevlar low-frequency driver mated with a 45W, Class AB amplifier. For the highs, the Eris employs a 1" silk-dome tweeter powered by a 35W, Class AB amplifier. The E5 outputs a clean 102 dB peak SPL. Its frequency response is rated at 64Hz to 22kHz.

The Eris E5 provides a balanced XLR, a balanced 14" TRS, and an unbalanced RCA line-level input. Once you're plugged in, set the input gain and you're ready to go.

The Eris provides 3-EQ controls in its acoustic tuning section: high, mid, and low cutoff. These controls enable you to fine-tune the monitors to your space. The low control also is useful when using the E5 with a subwoofer.

The High control is a shelving filter that boosts or cuts all frequencies above 4.5kHz by as much as 6dB. The mid control is a mid-frequency peak filter that boosts or cuts frequencies centered at 1kHz and extending about one octave above and below that frequency. The low cutoff control rolls off frequencies below either 80 or 100Hz at a slope of 12dB/octave. This control is especially useful if you also have a connected subwoofer.

A 3-position acoustic space switch controls a second-order, low shelving filter that cuts frequencies below 800Hz by either 2 or 4dB to compensate for the boundary bass boost that occurs in close proximity to walls or corners.

The RF shielding protects against radio frequencies that could be introduced to the signal and become audible. The Eris monitors also provide overheat protection, current-output limiting and subsonic protection. The Soft startup amplifiers prevent damaging pops from sounding through the speakers when you power them up.

Designed for musicians and performers who demand mobility without compromising audio quality, the HP2 personal headphone amplifier is a great choice for driving wired in-ear monitors (IEMs), as well as headphones. PreSonus HP-series headphone amplifiers have long been popular for their loud, clean, clear sound and roadworthy built quality. The new HP2 delivers these qualities in an easily affordable, stereo device so you'll hear every note and beat clearly wherever your music takes you.

One for the road:
Portable and compact, the HP2 gives you all you need to drive your headphones or in-ears without complicating your setup. It sports two XLR line-level inputs and one stereo 1/8-inch headphone output with volume control. Operation can be switched between stereo and mono, and a Pan knob is provided. Like all PreSonus gear, it's built to take the rigors of life on the road. And it mounts on a microphone stand or clips to your belt. Simple, easy to use, built to travel, has the right features, sounds great. That's how we roll at PreSonus.

Power all night long:
When you're playing an extra long show or two shows back-to-back, having to stop and change batteries on your headphone amp is a hassle you don't need. No worries! HP2 stands for "Has Power 2 Spare." The HP2 can be powered with an external DC power supply or a nine-volt battery that lasts more than seven hours and includes an LED battery indicator. So you can play those extra-long gigs and hear your monitor mix perfectly - all night long.

Versatile recording & performance solution
Notes: Designed for creative electronic music production:
Almost everyone at PreSonus is a musician, and many of us are DJs and electronic musicians. So we understand the need for a high-quality interface with the best sounding preamps available and top quality digital converters. We need cue mix monitoring for live DJ gigs as well as in the studio. We need direct line inputs for our external synths, and we need expandability because we can't resist adding more synths to our collection. That's why we created the Studio 1810. With 18 flexible inputs, 8 outputs, cue mix monitoring on the first of two headphone outputs, and an onboard DSP monitor mixer that's integrated into both Studio One Artist and UC Surface, the Studio 1810 delivers superior audio and the features electronic music producers and DJs need.

Superior sound:
High-grade digital converters, ultra-low-jitter clocking, and our famous XMAX preamps add up to a superior recording and listening experience. The Studio 1810 operates at up to 192 kHz for ultra-high-definition mixing and recording. High-quality converters on every input and output provide 115 dB of dynamic range to capture complex musical harmonics smoothly and naturally with no audible distortion. XMAX Class A microphone preamps deliver incredibly high headroom, deep lows, smooth highs, and a rich overall sound so you'll hear every breath, transient, and detail in your recordings, making it ideal for both vocal production and sampling.

All the inputs you need, when you need them:
In addition to XMAX mic preamps, the first two Studio 1810 inputs provide instrument preamps so you can directly connect guitars and basses without a D.I. box. All four combo connections feature line level inputs with 40 dB of gain for low-level line devices, like that TR-808 you snagged off Craigslist. Four direct-to-ADC balanced line inputs are ideal for connecting synthesizers, outboard preamps, and channel strips. And the Studio 1810 is equipped with eight channels of ADAT Optical input (four channels at 96 kHz), enabling you to expand your inputs with an 8-channel converter like our premium-quality DigiMax DP88, so your recording system can grow along with your synth collection.

In the studio and on the gig:
The first of two high-powered headphone outputs features Cue Mix A/B so you can choose between two mixes with a button press, providing the flexibility you need for live DJ performances and studio collaboration. In addition to L/R main outputs with front-panel Mute and level controls, you get four balanced line outputs for monitor mixing plus stereo S/PDIF digital I/O. All line-level outputs are DC coupled, enabling them to send control voltages. An 18x6 monitor mixer lets you create three stereo near-zero-latency monitor mixes. Studio 1810's MIDI I/O enables connection to a keyboard, sound module, or control surface, as well, making this versatile interface the heart of your studio.

World-class recording software included:
The Studio 1810 interface works with virtually all Mac and Windows audio-recording software but it really shines when used with the included PreSonus Studio One Artist DAW. Built by creative people for creative music production, Studio One is easy to learn and enables you to compose, record, and produce your masterpiece without getting distracted by the tools. The mix controls for the Studio 1810's onboard monitor mixer are seamlessly integrated into Studio One. Using Studio One's unique Z-Mix feature, you can create near zero-latency monitor mixes without leaving your recording environment. You also can remote-control monitor mixes using free PreSonus UC Surface touch-control software for Mac, Windows, iPad, and Android.

The flexible production tool:

1U rackmountable signal processor unit providing tube preamps, dynamics processing and EQ
Notes: One of Presonus' newest signal processors, the versatile Studio Channel provides tube preamplification, dynamics processing, and EQ and takes the channel-strip concept in a bit different direction than does its older sibling, the Eureka.

The Studio Channel's Class A tube preamplifier is based on the original BlueTube DP preamp and features a high-output 12AX7 tube that operates on voltages double that of other preamplifiers in its class. The result is lots of headroom and big tone. Gain and Tube Drive controls enable a wide range of sounds, from transparent and clear to edgy and overdriven.

Presonus' VCA-based compressor is known for musicality and fast attack, with the ability to tame the fastest transients. From slap bass, to snare drum, to vocals, the Studio Channel's compressor allows you to record blazing-hot signals with total dynamics control. Its convenient Auto Attack/Release feature provides preset attack and release curves. The backlit VU meter can display gain reduction or output gain.

The custom-designed amplifiers in the Studio Channel's three-band EQ deliver sweet-sounding gain and cut for smooth highs; deep, solid lows; and clear midrange. The midrange band is fully parametric, with variable Q. The high- and low-frequency bands have Frequency and Gain controls, but fixed Q, and can be either shelving or peak bands. The EQ can be pre- or post-compressor, and you can bypass each stage independently.

With both XLR and 1/4" line outputs, you can connect the Studio Channel to almost any recording interface, amp, or P.A. system.

With one multipurpose processor, you can elicit a huge variety of tones. Produce luscious, in-your-face vocals, dynamic acoustic piano, and fat, solid bass guitar, not to mention crystal-clear acoustic guitars, cracking snare, and huge MPC tracks.

Presonus SW5E AVB Switch With PoE Interface (audio video bridging switch)
Cat: 665734 Rel: 16 Feb 18

5-port audio video bridging switch with Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Notes: PreSonus' SW5E AVB switch supplies five AVB ports with secure Ethercon jacks for compatibility with both standard RJ-45 cables and the more rugged Ethercon cables commonly found in audio production houses for live sound. This, along with its robust construction, makes the SW5E an especially good choice for live sound systems. Network Link/Activity indicators help you ensure that network data is flowing properly.

What is an AVB network?
Audio networking is much more than just a way to connect a digital snake. With an AVB network, you can connect digital audio devices over long distances using CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable and route your audio anywhere on the network with extremely low latency. AVB offers several unique benefits that make it a better choice for audio than other networking protocols. For example, AVB provides a high-precision clock that significantly reduces harmonic distortion and phasing, ensuring your audio stays clear and clean. AVB ensures you always have enough bandwidth to carry your low latency audio - even when your intern starts streaming a movie. These important benefits are an inherent part of AVB; you don't need to do anything special to your devices or AVB switch. And you can only get them with AVB.

PoE: Remote power for networked devices:
Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology that enables network cables to carry electrical power to compatible devices. With PoE, a single cable delivers both network data, such as digital audio, and electrical power. You can locate a PoE-enabled device anywhere you can run an Ethernet cable because you don't need a local power source. Four of the SW5E's five ports can provide PoE, a rare feature in the current generation of AVB switches. The SW5E's fifth port is non-PoE, which is useful for linking to additional switches to create a larger network.

Tough enough for live sound:
Live sound gigs are hard on gear, and if your network fails, the show could be over. That's why the SW5E is built to stand up to the rigors of live sound and perform reliably every time. In addition to using rugged, locking XLR Ethernet connectors, the SW5E is housed in a heavy-duty, all-metal chassis and can be rack mounted using a rack tray (not included). The unit also employs an internal power supply with standard IEC connector - not a clumsy "wall wart" supply that could easily get bumped loose.

A great networking solution for StudioLive digital mixers:
When used with StudioLive digital mixers, an SW5E AVB switch makes many wonderful things possible. Use an SW5E to network StudioLive Series III consoles or to connect a StudioLive AI-series console and StudioLive RML-series rack mixer (as a stage box). Put an SW5E at the centre of your network to connect a StudioLive RML-series rack mixer with a StudioLive CS18AI control surface. You can even cascade two StudioLive RML-series mixers to create a larger system by AVB networking them with an SW5E.

You also can use the SW5E to connect non-PreSonus AVB-enabled equipment. As long as the product is compatible with the AVB specification, it is compatible with the SW5E.

10 inch glass composite powered subwoofer with built in crossover and resonance suppressing enclosure technology
Notes: To hear what's really going on at the bottom of your mixes, you need a subwoofer that speaks the truth. The Temblor T10 lets you take charge of the low-frequency foundation of your mix with a combination of quality components and design, plenty of inputs and outputs, and extensive user controls not normally available in this price range.

An ideal companion to Eris and Sceptre active reference monitors, the T10 complements full-range monitors without overshadowing them, extending the reach of your full-range system's low end with a musical and natural approach.
Powerful and musical, Temblor features high-quality components and design that enable it to deliver fast and accurate transient response, extending low frequencies without a hint of "tubbiness" or overshoot.

The Temblor T10 is an active subwoofer with a 10-inch glass-composite driver, built-in crossover, high-temperature voice coil, and damped rubber surround. Its cabinet features a front-firing, bass-reflex acoustic port and optimized, resonance-suppressing internal bracing. The enclosure has integrated rubber feet for stable placement.

In addition to outstanding accuracy and a frequency response that ranges from 20 Hz to 130 Hz, this combination of features enables the subwoofer to produce higher volume - up to 113 dB SPL - with less power than a sealed-box design. But make no mistake; the T10 has plenty of juice: 250 watts of Class AB power.

The result is a subwoofer that delivers accurate, tight low end and outperforms subs costing far more. With Temblor T10, you hear what the foundation of your mix really sounds like so you can produce your best mix from top to bottom.

The T10 provides more user controls than any other subwoofer in its class, enabling seamless integration into your listening environment.

The Temblor T10's extensive user controls include input gain (-30 dB to +6 dB, continuously variable) and a continuously variable low-pass filter (50 Hz to 130 Hz) that let you create a seamless crossover transition between your full-range studio monitors and subwoofer for a more accurate listening environment.

A switchable high-pass filter removes frequency content below 80 Hz from the full-range signal sent from the T10 outputs to the main monitors, avoiding destructive cancellation and reinforcement in the T10's upper range.
The result is a subwoofer that can be adjusted to perfectly complement not only our Sceptre CoActual and Eris active studio monitors but virtually any studio monitor.

The T10 also features a momentary footswitch (included) that bypasses the subwoofer, high-pass filter, and Sub Out. This allows your audio source signal to pass directly through the Temblor T10 to the full-range studio monitors, making comparing your mix with or without sub frequencies quick and easy. This helps to ensure your mix will sound good on a wide variety of systems.

Of course, we didn't forget the "small things" that can make a big difference: polarity invert and a ground-lift switch.

No other subwoofer anywhere close to the Temblor T10's price range offers a comparable selection of inputs and outputs.

The Temblor T10 provides a choice of three input pairs: two sets of balanced inputs (XLR and 1/4" TRS) and one pair of RCA unbalanced inputs. Pairs of inputs are provided in order to accept a stereo signal from your audio source.
When both of the balanced connections are in use, the TRS inputs will take precedence over the XLR inputs. The RCA inputs will sum into either balanced connection.

You get two pairs of balanced outputs: XLR and 1/4" TRS. The full-range signal connected to the stereo inputs on the T10 is passed through to these outputs so you can connect them to your main left and right studio monitors. If the High Pass Filter switch is engaged, frequencies below 80 Hz are not sent from these outputs.

The T10 also has a balanced XLR output that sends the low-frequency signal from the low-pass filter to a second Temblor T10 for the ultimate in smooth low end.
