Show Me Luv (Yo Dawg edit) (5:39)
Mike Dunn - "Snare Your Ass Off" (Peper In Je Reet edit) (5:27)
Review: Self Reflektion is a Rotterdam-based label releasing techno (influenced) music. The Fishermen You'll Never See Vol. 2! features sneaky DJ cuts from the original Paling Trax posse (take no imitations!) - pressed on a limited edition clear transparent 12'. On the first side, you have a proper peak time funky house banger in the form of 'Show Me Luv' (Yo Dawg edit) which is sure to - how do we say it - sprinkle some stardust on the dancefloor, while over on the flip the man Mike Dunn goes his thing on the 808 focused percolator jack of 'Show Me Luv' (Yo Dawg edit) that's sure to get the heads down.

Twerk Dat Shit (4:05)
Drive Me Crazy (3:27)
Pumping Bass (5:34)
XTC People (4:11)
Sendwhich (4:19)
Playa Hate (2:38)
Review: Making no bones about his sources of inspiration, Rotterdam-based DJ and producer Mitchel Polderman directs his Tafkamp alias to a wholesale ghetto house / Dance Mania aesthetic right down to the centre label. Tracks like 'Twerk Dat Shit' and 'Drive Me Crazy' have all the moves you'd expect from some proper Chicago early 90s gear, but Polderman's sound has a slicker modern finish which sets it apart from the OG material. There are six tracks on this release, and they all channel legends like DJ Deeon et al, with a pitched down sample of Peaches thrown in for good measure.

Tafkamp - "Trakpad #1" (6:57)
Tafkamp - "Ghett-Hoes" (5:34)
Vromo - "Clarity" (5:32)
Vromo - "Pump The Rhythm" (4:48)
Review: Paling Trax 5 is a new record by TAFKAMP and Vromo, two techno artists from Rotterdam and Amsterdam respectively1. Paling Trax, meanwhile, comes as a new sublabel of renowned club pushers Self Reflektion, focusing on the comparatively rawer and groovier. Four tracks appear: 'Trakpad #1' and 'Ghett-hoes', courtesy of TAFKAMP, establish dub-tecchy and retro, MPC-style NRG respectively. Vromo's 'Clarity' and 'Pump The Rhythm' , meanwhile, both puslate in different ways, one locking in a serious respiratory mood, and the other sounding like a Bop-It jailbroken for the club.
