Review: Kensuke Yasuhara and Shintaro D's Tokyo/Berlin based INIT imprint has been bringing consistent quality in recent times with their brand of lean and dubby minimal house aimed squarely at the afterhours. For their fourth release, they have tapped Mikio Kamina Kamura for his second release, after making a great debut on Fumiya Tanaka's recently revived Untitled Records, which resumed after a 16 year hiatus. Starting off with the brooding and bubbling groove reductionism of "Viva La Muchos" and the tripped out early morning microhouse of "Rubat Musiker" on the A side. On the flip, "Bom Funk" is the releases' most upbeat offering; this rolling and hypnotic groove features a trippy latin monologue over the top which is perfect to play at that Berlin Sunday open air.
