Review: Coeur De Glace on DKO Records (DKO 34) delivers four fantastic electro tracks, each with unique influences and directions. Side-1 kicks off with Binary Digit's 'U Want Dis,' an exuberant, high-energy track that pays homage to old-school rave with its lively vocal samples. Fasme's 'Morning' follows, blending smooth electro with soft keys and a whimsical AFX melody for a perfect combination. Side-2 features GGGG's 'La Cueillette,' a feel-good, fun and melodic electro tune. The EP concludes with Mud Deep & Sans-Qui's 'Mesonyx,' offering IDM goodness reminiscent of Rephlex, Squarepusher, and AFX. Coeur De Glaceis a vibrant and diverse collection, sure to delight fans of electro and techno.

Review: After a transformative stay in Detroit in 2022, Mad Rey returned to Montreuil in Paris inspired and full of energy. She set about repairing her MPC2000XL drum machine and bought a second-hand Yamaha Motif ES6 and a Korg Triton to add to her set up and began experimenting with tunes in her home studio. Immersed in the process and recording daily, she soon rediscovering a raw, heartfelt creativity. Two years later, the producer has gathered the eight tracks that brought her the most joy in those days and here they are, their nostalgic sound shaped by late-90s instruments and bending house, r&b and soul into a lovely record.

Review: Mud Deep returns with a new 12" on the D.Ko label that explores a wide range of superbly stylish electro sounds. First up is 'Metroid' which is a thumping rhythm with ricocheting hits and smart snares that drive things onwards. 'Global Glare' is a lovely broken beat number with reverberating bass and some nice acid flushes and 'Pyramid Head' offers widescreen ambient synth beauty with a wiggling rhythm that you will not be able to resist. 'The Wire (Stringer Bell mix)' shows off more lush synth craft and 'Majula' ends with cosmic energy underpinned by more snappy kick drum patterns.
