Review: While Jeroen Warmenhoven has delivered plenty of material of late under the DJ Overdose alias, it's been some four years since he last explored more Italo-flavoured pastures under the Model Man guise. This return for Bordello A Parigi is, then, well overdue. It's naturally rather good, with lead cut "Peeking Through The Blinds" - a raging, camp-as-Christmas Italo-disco banger straight out of the Rotterdam school - hitting hard from the off. The acid-flecked "Burning Bed" and skittering EBM cheeriness of "Antidote" could also be considered tried-and-tested dancefloor smashers, while the slower, rhythmically broken "Flying Knives" is one of the most cheerfully positive things you'll hear all year. Best of all, though, is the deep, picturesque and wonderfully slow title track.

Review: Middlesborough musician Rees impressed with his last outing on the Bordello A Parigi label: 'Three Eyes' was a real dancefloor gem which he now follows up with three more gems that showcase the artist's eclectic style and versatile skills. 'Dream Wave' is a bright, busy, intense cut with glistening synths front and centre, dancing about a crunchy and rigid rhythm while 'The New Beat' ups the ante with eerie arps leading the way as more metallic drum sounds clatter away below. Last of all is 'Electric Body' which is awash with more incisive synths and guitar lines, all with a hypotonic lead synth and new wave techno drums powering it along.

Review: 10+ albums and 30+ years in the game and Rude 66 continues to remain exciting, innovative and focused on the fearful future. Now at home on local Delft label Bordello A Parigi, From Reason To Ritual brings us up to speed by way of the insistent synth shots of "On The Edge Of Time", the stuttering breaks and coldwave pads and haunted human textures of "Chasing After Shadows" and the staunch gothic sci-fi stomps of "I Represent The Darkness". Loaded with a gritty sense of foreboding and relentless techno pace throughout, if anything Rude 66 sounds even more relevant and resonant than ever before.

Review: Zakmina is Lukas Zeringis, previously spotted on Futureboogie and Minimood, with his classy take on the modern tech house phenomenon. 'For U' sees the up and coming artist link up with Bordello A Parigi and go all-in on the trance tip. Playing out like it's peak time at Amnesia, the A-side is full of sentimental bombast which will keep that summer spirit running well into the winter months. On the B-side, 'Take Me Back' dishes out more of the melodic charm with a sly shot of electro in the rhythm section for good measure.
