Sophisticated Animated
Moonlight Sonata (parts 1 & 2)
Review: Hot on the heels of his critically acclaimed Whalesong EP for Trelik, OCH returns with another equally crucial deep club orientated two tracker. The A Side cut, "Sophisticated Animated", contains a level of funk and energy that is often lost in today's house music. Being constantly inspired by the US pioneers of the genre, OCH presents stripped back Chicago grooves alongside heavy analogue bass and jacking percussion, teasing with a sprinkling of 303 acid and a sparse yet deadly piano solo. Up next, "Moonlight Sonata" is OCH's deepest work to date, incorporating dubstep inspired drums and ambience with lush old-school synth chords which build and modulate before the track climaxes into a thundering four to the floor workout. Shrink-wrapped clear vinyl pressing.

Hate Internet (Claro Intelecto remix)
Review: Autoreply Music marks the coming of the summer season with a very tidy little 10" from OCH. This man recently recorded for Baby Ford's PAL SL imprint, gaining support from a diverse range of DJing luminaries including ZIP, Sammy Dee and Efdemin. Now the mysterious producer steps up with a big room floor rocker that has been described as Ian Pooley's "Chord Memory" meets Christian Vogel. Thunderous drums, hypnotizing chords and a cheeky sample that the old house heads will be sure to recognise make this one for the peak time. Claro Intelecto's Warehouse Sessions on Modern Love is regarded by many as one of the most definitive collections of contemporary techno to hit the shelves in recent years. Fresh back from remixing Depeche Mode he takes time out of his busy schedule for remix duties. Taking his cues from the warehouse classics that accompanied him through years in Manchester's revered clubs like the Hacienda, Home and Paradise Factory, he serves up a powerful, stripped down reworking of the original track that is equally suited to sweaty dance floors. Fasten your seatbelts.

Review: Autoreply presents a blue vinyl repress of one of their most sought after releases: OCH's "Hate Internet". This 10" was the first in a long line of hits which goes on to include winners on platforms like Trelik, Bass Culture and PAL SL. Thunderous drums, hypnotizing chords and a sample that the old house heads will recognise makes this one for the peak time. Samarkand Sulci
Enceladus
Don't Fight It
Morning Glory
C Ring
Snarecrow
Bitchslap
Review: Stunningly beautiful double-pack from OCH for Autoreply Music's 20th release. Following on from output on renowned labels like PAL SL, Trelik, Bass Culture he returns to Autoreply with seven tracks of playable perfection. By focusing on stripped-back percussive grooves, sparse 909 drum-programming and ultra fine-tuned dynamics he certainly proves with tracks "Samarkand Sulci" and "Snarecrow" that the original jackin' house/techno sound will always have plenty of life and soul. "Don't Fight It" is an 8.5 minute acid builder featuring haunting vocals and crisp synths whilst the bass driven dub of "Enceladus" wouldn't be complete without live delays and distorted pianos. Check Out "Morning Glory" for a surprise contender for this years balearic soundtrack or "C Ring" for ultimate warmth. Tracks for every situation and not to be missed!

Linear Response Function
Linear Response Function (140 gram vinyl double 12")

Minimal/Tech House
Panamax (8:01)
The Sadness (6:55)
The Healer (6:29)
Linear Response Function (8:43)
Incompressible Flow (6:41)
Lovers Roll (6:41)
Review: It's been a hot minute since we heard something new from Och, but he's back on Autoreply with a double 12" of high-grade, stripped back tech house shot through with oodles of imagination. "Panamax" is the consummate dubby house track, a true immersion chamber of a track, while "The Sadness" brings a shuffling groove and some peppy key stabs to the table. "The Healer" is a more overtly minimal affair that would sound at home on PAL SL, while "Linear Response Function" keeps things tight and focused with a sturdy rhythmic framework and some spartan piano notes. "Incompressible Flow" has a submerged jazzy undercurrent to it, and "Lovers Roll" gets into that freaky house bounce heard on "The Sadness". Overall, it's another sterling grip of refined tracks from a seasoned pro.

OCH - "Scammell" (Jay Bliss remix)
OCH - "Scammell" (original mix)
Jay Bliss - "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" (OCH remix)
Jay Bliss - "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" (original mix)
Review: OCH has a strong pedigree of collaborations with fellow underground stalwart Jay Bliss the latest to share space on a Autoreply record with the label boss. Bliss should be known to many as the co-owner of Electrique Boutique alongside Markus Homm, for a long time the only vinyl outlet in Romania, and his discography makes for impressive reading these days. Recent times have seen Mr Bliss share record space with the likes of Skudge and Petre Inspirescu on respected imprints like 20:20 Vision, All Inn, Hudd Traxx and Fear Of Flying. AUTO 015 kicks off with a bouncy rework of OCH's "Scammell" from Bliss featuring sub-aqua sound-scapes and sonar blips on an instantly playable US inspired groove. OCH's original has a distinctly liquid approach possibly referencing the work of LTJ Bukem and Good Looking over techno framework. Jay's main offering "Men Are From Mars" is sexy controlled acid which OCH shifts up a gear for peak time floor-play layering the original TB303 patterns to thundering climax. Road-tested on Eleven Club, Tokyo's Alpha System's custom speakers.

Deep House
OCH - "Fika"
DEN - "Rushing For Love"
DJ PI GE - "Down Map"
OCH - "Doctors Orders"
Review: 2013 marks Autoreply Music's 5th year of quality vinyl releases and welcomes the label's 14 release which sees label boss OCH welcome two of Tokyo's most influential players to the family. As co-founder of the Pan Records label and collaborator with Mathias Kaden as Mathimidori, DJ PI-GE has been integral to the capital's current wave of house and techno, whilst his high standing as a DJ has seen bookings at respected European haunts Panorama Bar, Womb and Robert Johnson. His track "Down Map" features soft vocals, and catchy drifting synths which build and tease over an 8 minute backdrop of tight, club orientated percussion. Expertly mixed and pre-mastered by David Koch aka Dewalta. op.disc regular DEN has an equally fruitful musical heritage having lived in London and Berlin and recorded for electronic institutions like Soma and Trapez. Returning to his homeland he's now established himself as one of the nations premium DJ's. "Rushing For Love" is built around powerful drums and speaker shaking bass, its perfect for the peak time with haunting piano's creating a mood of euphoric tension and suspense. OCH is no stranger to labels like Trelik, PAL SL, All Inn and SECT. He kicks of the 12" with "Fika" which embraces his early UK House and Garage roots with warm vintage keys and lush female vox. "Doctors Orders" is a unique beatless weapon of spoken word and analogue synths completing the line-up of this very special EP.

Deep House
Och - "Deltic"
Och - "Freeze Thaw"
The Model - "Dungeon Man"
The Model - "Stancuto"
Review: Four deadly cuts of timeless, jackin' house and deep techno professionalism. OCH returns to his Autoreply home with a new series of split 12"s inviting a diverse group of producers to share a slab of wax. For the A Side he opens with "Deltic" which sets the mood with tough yet soulful Chicago vibes. OCH's second contribution is "Freeze-Thaw" showcasing a deep, hypnotic groove alongside powerful sub-bass, lush female vox with dreamy analogue pads that bridge the gap between artistic creativity and memorable club versatility. On the flip side it's Romanian all-rounder, The Model, who has previously graced premium labels such as Traum Schallplatten and International DJ Gigolo. Here he delivers two ultra-phat workouts in the form of "Dungeon Man", an infectious chord driven floor-burner and "Stancuto" a stripped back, percussive take on the same theme demonstrating his emerging new warehouse sound with just the slightest salute to Echocord or Dehnert.
