DJ Randall honoured with memorial mural
Gnashermurals pay tribute to the fallen DJ icon
DJ Randall, whose death at the age of 54 was announced last week, has been honoured with a mural.
The mural is the work of Gnashermurals, who have created public portraits of characters as iconic as Rik Mayall, Richard Burton, Maxi Jazz and June Brown aka Dot Cotton in the past, is situated on the Melbourn Pavilion in Hertfordshire, the artist’s base.
Gnashermurals’ Instagram account read: “Was filming today with @liambauckham_film , we’d planned something else to film but due to last night news I changed the plans last minute. Another one of my Musical heroes gone too early 🙏🏻 … for anyone that’s ever been into Drum and bass knows DJ Randall, a true pioneer RIEP #djrandall Melbourn pavilion, Hertfordshire original pic by @chelonewolf“
