Simple Symmetry are back on the Calypso label with a selection of mixes from their 2022 album Sorry! We Did Something Different! from Inigo Vontier, Smaghhe & Cross, Odopt and the wonderfully named The Horsemen Of Housing & Commercial Services.

If you’re getting the feeling that Simple Symmetry are not your your usual, bog standard deep house duo then you’d be right. A quick listen to ‘Che Che (Extended Version)’ – which we’re premiering today ahead of the six track EP’s release on June 24 – will confirm that. It’s utterly bonkers.

The band told us: “When in 2022 we released our LP on the vinyl ‘Che Che’ was excluded ’cause there was a lack of time on the record and we decided to sacrifice this tune. It was a wrong move – we got so many messages saying it was unfair and asking to release it. Finally it is released! Moreover as an extended and club-friendly version – middle tempo dj-set banger!”
