The London party collective’s founder takes to the decks
Lixo is the production alias of Alex Hislop, founder of influential London party collective, GETME! and a man who boasts a back catalogue spanning some 20 releases and appearances on Rinse FM, NTS, Balamii and 1Xtra. For his Juno Daily – In The Mix session, he presents a handful of his own tracks – old and new – and a wide reaching selection of sounds currently influencing his studio work.
GETME! has established itself as one of London’s key music hubs over the last 15 years and Hislop has previously collaborated with the likes of Trim and Quays across his previous EPs and singles and releases have garnered support from radio heavyweights Benji B, Mary Anne Hobbs, Toddla T, Huw Stephens and Jamz Supernova. His latest EP ‘Inhititor’, is out today.
