Moog’s latest semi-modular release is a unique analogue spectral processor.
New from Moog, the Spectravox marks an interesting new addition to the iconic brand’s semi-modular range. Based around a 10-band analogue filter bank, the device can generate drones and tonal sweeps, but probably works best for processing other sound sources. It’s a filter with resonance and movement, a vocoder or a patchable spectral processor which can play nicely with other modular and semi-modular gear. You can see and hear it being put through its paces by Jamie Lidell in the video above.
The Moog Spectravox is available to pre-order now, priced at £599.99.
