Stereolab singer annouces new album and shares ‘Une Autre Attente’ video
Sadier’s first solo offering since 2016 is due in February
Laetitia Sadier, co-founder and singer for the legendary indie Krautrockers Stereolab, has announced a new solo album – and shared the video for its first single.
With its flashy funk-beat, ‘Une Autre Attente’s radiant rhythmic core evolves the idea of unifying body and spirit, and the essence of primordial love in our lives. Using cut-up technique to find surprising places in her themes, Laetitia glides with the band through dynamic oscillations of sound and word alike, on whirling winds of ego and duality, confronting illusions of certainty and control through a multilayered audiac prism.
Rooting For Love will be released on February 23 via Duophonic Super 45s, her first since 2016’s Find Me Finding You.
