Premiere – Intr0beatz drops slinky filtered vocal house workout ‘Line’
Track is the classy closer of the five-track ‘Fókus’ EP
Reykjavík’s finest export Intr0beatz celebrates the release of his ‘Fókus’ EP today by sharing one of its sexiest, slinkiest highlights in full.
‘Line’ closes the vinyl version of the EP, which is officially due out via SlothBoogie Recordings on November 3 (although our stock has arrived a few days early), with chopped soul vocals echoing over deeply filtered chords and bass synth accents.
‘Concentrate’, a dusty and nostalgic opener with well swung drums, the smooth and soothing deep house groove ‘Homage’, the bumping ‘Use What You Got’ and deeper cut ‘Don’t U Ever’ complete what our reviewer calls “a stylish and very useful 12”.
Intr0beatz has featured on labels from the US – his Late Night Snacks EP for Just Fine – to In-Beat-Ween Music in Russia, who saw him rub shoulders with Byron The Aquarius on their Footwork House Jam #1 .
