New music from Photek to feature on Call of Duty’s Modern Warfare II series five
D&b don bags major games soundtrack

Photek has revealed he has written new music for a new edition of Call of Duty’s Modern Warfare II – Warzone Season 5.
The producer, real name Rupert Parkes, who made his name in the drum & bass scene but has also branched out into house, techno and downbeat tunes, stopped releasing records in 2012 to concentrate on film and computer game soundtracks.

He recorded the soundtrack for EA Games’ Need For Speed in 2016 and, as well as numerous TV shows, he’s contributed to the soundtracks of many feature films from the remake of The Italian Job to Dr Seuss’ The Cat In The Hat.
Parkes announced his contribution to the world famous computer game series through his Facebook page and added a message earlier today which read: “Will be posting music clips soon..”
Now based in Los Angeles, Photek made an extremely rare DJ appearance in March 2023, appearing alongside Goldie and Doc Scott at a Metalheadz night during the Miami Music Conference.
