Collabrators’ ‘Crono’ EP is out next week
Donato Dozzy is one of the hottest names in techno right now, with the very mention of new work by the Italian enough to get the hardiest of hearts all of a flutter.
Teaming up with Gang of Ducks co-founder Sabla for four tracks written between 2019 and 2022, each titled ‘Flusso 1’-4 depending on the order in which they were written, the ‘Crono’ EP shows he’s not lost his touch. The pair’s productions here are deep, resonant and filled with eerie rhythmic momentum, not to mention totally captivating.

“In an era where information runs fast,” claims the press release for the EP, out on April 28, “and just one year ago feels like ages ago, the music inside this EP comfortably sits in a time bubble, absorbing old and new influences and melting them organically.” Who are we to argue?
