The makers of high-end interfaces offer something new for musicians and content creators.
Renowned audio interface specialists Apogee Electronics have announced their most affordable two-channel interface to date. The Boom is a compact, desktop unit which has features designed for streamers and vloggers as well as producers and musicians.
The Boom is a cool looking thing for a start, with a unique A-shaped profile and fetching purple colour scheme, but far more importantly it offers a really impressive spec, with Apogee’s trademark quality conversion and mic pre-amps, 24-bit/192 kHz resolution and hardware DSP. Those digital signal processing options include the Symphony ECS Channel Strip tuned by legendary producer/engineer Bob Clearmountain, offering three-band EQ, compression and drive with zero latency.
