Ell Murohy takes to the decks – and the microphone

Ell Murohy is a DJ and vocalist from South East London who has been making waves with her multi genre mixes and releases over the past 18 months, combining both disciplines to deliver a unique performance style. 

You can catch Ell singing live over her high energy selections on the airwaves as a resident on Balamii radio and across the UK – with notable sets for FOLD, Hör Berlin, Fabric & Motion and guest mixes on NTS, Rinse FM & Reprezent – with her blend of breaks, ukg, rave, jungle and everything in between. 

Ell had a prolific year in the studio in 2021, with the release of her debut solo EP on Shall Not Fade sub-label Time Is Now – featuring collaborations with DJ Crisps, Stones Taro & Highrise – receiving widespread acclaim & Radio 1 support from Jaguar & R1 Dance. 

She also co-wrote and featured on TSHA’s Flowers EP on NinjaTune and released collaborations with Perception & Lavonz on Dansu Discs, as well as several releases on her own Jucey Tunes label. Also recently securing a monthly residency on Foundation FM with her Team Woibey crew, made up of rising selectors Mixtress, ohmydais & FAE, and their first London booking at Percolate’s new Risen festival.

This year will see the release of Ell’s second EP, collaborating with Club Glow’s Mani Festo, aswell as her first full production plus forthcoming features with the likes of Angel D’lite, Giulia Tess, Ekula, Will Silver, LUXE, Gemi, and a string of live dates planned across the UK,  including a summer tour and key dates at Waterworks festival and a two date Hör Berlin takeover, curated by Ell.
