This unique oscillator is based on chaos theory and double-scroll attractors.
New in from Joranalogue, the Orbit 3 is a great example of the kind of conceptual design which so often works well in Eurorack. Based around chaos theory, it’s essentially an oscillator capable of producing audio-rate signals or LFOs. What makes the Orbit 3 unique is how it generates signals, based on what Joranalogue describe as “a modified electronic analogue of the classic double-scroll attractor”, creating the controlled chaos of particle orbits through a 3D space. If it all sounds a bit technical, the end result is a module which is more intuitive and more versatile than you might expect. You can watch our video demo above.
The Joranalogue Orbit 3 is in stock now, priced at £197.99.
