Juno Daily – In The Mix with Auf Togo
Organic grooves abound as the disco duo strut their stuff

With their highly anticipated debut album Movements now imminent, multi-talented production duo Auf Togo – Clement Cachot-Coulom (Fabulous Penetrators) and Sasa Crnobrnja (In Flagranti) – have dropped by for an hour’s mix, showing off the best of their Balearic, stripped-back disco and house bits.
Movements – which is available to pre-order here – is scheduled for release on November 19, and blends influences from Hawaiian jazz, space disco, and Afrobeat, repurposed into a new electronic context whose musicianship exceeds that of most producers.

The duo’s intense focus on vintage recording equipment, reconciled with modern production techniques, shines bright here. This mix careens through the best of what the present day’s funky, ambient disco-house scene has to offer, including new cuts from affiliates to seminal labels like Banoffee Pies and Les Yeux Orange – including Thoma Cher, Sameed, and Musique Du Text.
Auf Togo commented: “This mix was made with a synth-free groove led dance music approach with live instruments and an added warm analog aesthetic.
This is a technique we bring in to our music and productions such as with our debut LP ‘Movements’, whereas Auf Togo we combine my electronic production practices with Clem’s jams on a variation of vintage instruments.”
