Brian Eno shares new production for Sissi Rada’s Nanodiamond album
Ebo and Andi Toma of Mouse on Mars both take on production duties for Athenian harpist’s LP

Athenian harpist, singer, electronic producer Sissi Rada has teamed up with ambient pioneer Brian Eno for her latest single ‘81948 (2000 OM69)’.
The new single is taken from Rada’s forthcoming album Nanodiamond, set to be released via Toy Tonics’ new offshoot imprint Kryptox this coming November 19.
Nanodiamond’ draws on a plethora of influences ranging from Coil, Kate Bush, Katie Gately, Van Dyke Parks, Georgia, and Kid ‘A-era Radiohead. The album features co-production by Andi Toma of Mouse on Mars, and guest vocals from fellow Greek artist Lena Platonos.
Thematically, Rada’s music aims for ambient bliss, drawing on scenic inspirations such as the Aegean Sea, as well as more fantastical imaginings – her label Kryptox describe her music as evoking “jewel-encrusted grottos of sound”.
As well as her solo electronic work, Rada is often recognised as one of the best classical harpists in Europe. She is a member of the Teodor Currentzis’ MusicAeterna orchestra, and frequently collaborates with the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra and the Deutsche Oper Berlin opera house.
As well as the album, Rada has also announced several upcoming live dates as part of musicAeterna and Teodor Currentzis. These are as follows:
1 December – Berliner Philharmonie
4 December – Paris Philharmonic
‘The will be available on vinyl, digital download and streaming via Kryptox records on November 19
