The updated fuzz modulator pedal adds plenty of new features for synth-like tones.
New from Solid Gold FX, the Lysis MKII is an updated take on the brand’s ‘polyphonic octave fuzz modulator’, designed to generate synth-like tones from a guitar or bass signal. In Solid Gold’s words, the Lysis “applies thick, resonant filters, multiple polyphonic voicings and sweeping LFO’s, all drenched in an analog square-wave fuzz to your instrument of choice”. Among other updates from the original version, it’s got a giant 33 waveform options, tap tempo via a footswitch, updated resonance controls and new fuzz octave voicing. The end result is a nuanced and creative pedal which can push your guitar tone way beyond conventional guitar sounds.
The Solid Gold FX Lysis MKII is in stock now, priced at £197.99.
