Plant43 announces ‘Unknown Structure’ EP

New electronic imprint Future Massive has shared a new release this week – ‘Unknown Structure’ – from electro producer Emile Facey, better known by the alias Plant43.

From ‘Hearts Beat In Silence’ to ‘Slowburn Storms’, the new EP is a five-track collection of electro in Plant43’s signature style, operating in both classic and new substyles such as deep-step.

Along with the EP, Future Massive have released a video, created by label founder Steve Hyland, for first single ‘Hearts Beat in Silence’. Referencing the EP’s title, the video contains a mysterious, monolithic obelisk structure, which appears in several uncanny locations before taking humanoid form. According to Plant43, this figure represents a lonely alien force observing our culture from a stellar distance, and reflecting on our fragility.

Future Massive, a new label created by Ai Records’ co-founder Steve Hyland and independent music specialist Nathan Phillips, aims for a renewed focus on acid and electro, lo-fi electronica, and progressive techno. ‘Unknown Structure’ will be released on July 16 – pre-order the EP here.
