Virtual DJ Summer 2021 update adds stem exports
The new update adds creative options for users of Pioneer and Denon players/controllers.
A new update for the Virtual DJ software package allows you to create and export stems from tracks. The 2021 Summer Edition follows on from last year’s major update, introducing the ability to save your stems to a USB stick for playback via a Pioneer CDJ or XDJ player/controller. You can see the new feature in action above.
Virtual DJ is free to use for non-commercial purposes, including the ability to create stems. You’ll need to pay for a licence in order to export those stems to USB.
Virtual DJ is also compatible with a range of Denon controllers, which can play back the stems by importing Rekordbox playlists. Scroll down to see how Virtual DJ integrates neatly with Denon equipment.
