Korg announce updated Volca Sample with USB, bigger memory and more
The refreshed model also addresses some of the more fiddly aspects of the original unit’s workflow.
Korg have announced an updated version of the popular Volca Sample, featuring increased sample memory, a new factory sound library, a USB port for loading user samples, and more.
The main workflow improvement is the ability to manage and transfer samples using new Mac and PC librarian software, addressing the original unit’s reliance on fiddly mobile apps to transfer sounds. There’s also a new pattern chain mode and a start delay function to allow greater control over groove and swing.
The updated Korg Volca Sample 2 is due to arrive in September with an RRP of £159. Scroll down for more photos.
