Exclusive Love Record Stores 2020 releases announced

June 20th sees the online event take place, with exclusive vinyl releases, live DJ sets and virtual online ‘instores’.

Founded as a global initiative to support indie record stores, Love Record Stores is a day of online record shopping, exclusive releases, DJ sets and virtual online ‘instores’.

To celebrate the event, dozens of exclusive releases will go on sale at 9am tomorrow (June 20th), including new albums and reissues from artists including Caribou, Moses Boyd, Iggy Pop, Mogwai, Floating Points and New Order.

The event will be complemented by a series of live DJ sets and virtual ‘instores’. A full day’s programming is planned, with performances curated by labels including Secretly Canadian, Heavenly Recordings and Mute. DJs include Jeff Barrett, Richard Russell, Daniel Avery and an exclusive 2019 live recording from Andrew Weatherall. Events go live on the Love Record Stores with Light In The Attic at 7am.

Love Record Stores 2020 is fundraising for three charities: #SaveOurVenues, Covid-19 Relief Fund and Black Lives Matter.

The Love Record Stores 2020 event will take place tomorrow, June 20th, with releases going on sale at 9am.
