All Caps return with Neuroshima

The hotly-tipped artist is next on the Glasgow label with the Rave Archive EP.

All Caps have a tendency to pick up on artists or trends much earlier than other labels; see their early championing of the Vancouver scene with the 2014 Bluntman Deejay 12″ or their wonderful foray through the unreleased archives of Cardiff’s DJ Guy for evidence. The highly regarded selecting skills of co-founder Bake clearly have something to do with this. Bake’s reputation and standing within the UK community means the Glaswegian is privy to all manner of unreleased material, but he clearly spends a lot of time looking for fresh talent too.

A new transmission from All Caps will arrive next month further enhancing this All Caps reputation in the shape of the Rave Archive EP from Neuroshima. Described by the label quite accurately as “mixesdb famous,” Neuroshima’s music has been popping up in mixes from Bake, Kowton, the Hessle crew and others for the past 12 months or so, though there appears to be little information as to this production unit’s identity.

A press release from the label does however provide the following mystery quote: “My friend & I used to listen to this during the summer of 94, gazing out his bedroom window at sunset, watching the birds fly past the water tower on the horizon. One of the rare times when both of us would shut up for a few minutes and get lost for a bit…”

Regardless, you can hear all six tracks from Rave Archive in full below ahead of the record’s arrival next month.

All Caps will release the Rave Archive EP by Neuroshima on March 8.
